Walden Preparatory School

Walden students at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth

For the past 36 years, Walden has been a small, specialty high school for kids who hate school; we cultivate their potential.  Walden accepts students in 9th-12th grade to learn in small classes.  We offer a college preparatory curriculum with an emphasis on community service.  We offer competitive tuition and financial aid.  Walden Preparatory School admits students of any race, color, national, ethnic, and religious background.  At Walden, we work to meet the individual needs of all our students.  We welcome interested students and families to come and visit and see how our unique learning environment can help.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Because each student is unique, Walden’s mission is to create a progressive and creative education program that responds to each student’s individual needs and builds on their strengths and knowledge.
