“The Human Cost”

Walden students and staff have been working hard to create and memorial for the fallen soldiers of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This expandable memorial, when completed, will list each soldier who has died in the conflicts and the date they perished. A Memorial Project

Students began painting the panels of the memorial

Students also began writing the names of the soldiers on popsicle sticks

Students painted stripes and blue squares and each panel

Students removed the tape on the panels

Students and staff stenciled the stars on each flag

Students and staff began gluing the names onto the panels

Students and staff then sealed each panel
