Pamala Ezell

Pamala Ezell is the director of Walden.  She has worked at the school for more than thirty years.  She began her Walden experience as a teacher and school secretary.  After earning her master’s degree in counseling she became the assistant director and school counselor.  When the school’s founder, Marie Loar, retired in 1983, Pamala became the school’s director.

 

Pamala holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Houston, and a Master of Science Degree in counseling from Texas A&M/Commerce.  In addition to her career at Walden, she is a school evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and has served on regional committees for that accrediting agency.  She has also done consulting work for a number of private alternative schools.
